Important Points for using SUIIT Moodle LMS

Logging in for the first time

  • To access the Login form - Click on Login in the top right corner.
  • Students (current & former  - allowed for Back and Improvement) & Faculty need to register by clicking on the SUIIT email address button on the login page and choosing their SUIIT email address.
    • For the students who have passed our earlier, the login will be active only after the registration is approved by the Examcell, SUIIT.
  • For the 1st time, the user has to click on the confirmation link sent to the SUIIT mail (If you are unable to find the confirmation link in your inbox search for mail from SUIIT Moodle LMS: linked login confirmation
  • After registration, is confirmed the user can directly log into the website clicking on the SUIIT email address button on the login page and choosing their SUIIT email address.
  • Verify that you are able to see the subjects that you are studying in the current semester.

Accessing the Mid/End Term examinations

As the Mid Term/End term examinations going to be conducted, there are few important points you should keep in mind
  1. Make sure you have adequate data balance in the device you are using 
  2. Also, make sure the device also has enough charge or power supply.
  3. Google Chrome is always preferred either on a Laptop or phone.
  4. Login to the exam website (MOODLE server) directly https://lms.suiit.ac.in at least 30 minutes before the start time of your exam to avoid congestion at the start of the exam.
  5. Don't login in from multiple devices, which might cause you to get blocked from the quiz.
  6. To get a feel you can access the Mock Test below Assessment under the Demonstration Quiz
  7. Before starting the quiz make sure you don't have any running background process which might interrupt your quiz.
  8. Don't attend or receive a call during the Quiz duration
  9.  Type of question 
    1. Multiple Choice (MC with a single answer)
    2. True/False, 
    3. Match the column/Choose the corresponding answer
  10. On the date and time  of your midterm exam click on the Subject and access "1st midterm"/"2nd midterm" to start the Quiz
    1. You have 30 questions in 1 hr and you can navigate to any questions you want within the stipulated time.
    2. The Countdown timer will tell you the amount of time you are left.
    3. If you finish the quiz within the hour click on the Finish attempt and Submit to submit the quiz
    4. In case you are unable to finish within the hour, the Quiz will auto-submit 
    5. After submission, your attempt will be available after the quiz closes.
    6. Marks can be displayed by click on Grades after the last exams are over (Date will be notified).
  11. The End Term examination will be carried out in two sections. (Section A and section B). Both sections are compulsory.
    1. Total Time for both section A and B is 3 Hours.
    2.  One mark question 60 numbers (50 to be answered, in Section A) and Two mark question 30 numbers (25 to be answered, in Section B)
      1. Total Mark 1x50+2x25 = 100
      2. However, the mark obtained out of 100 will be converted to out of 60 (as the total end semester examination mark is 60)
    3. On the date and time  of your exam click on the Subject and access "End term" to start the Quiz
      1. You can navigate to any questions you want within the stipulated time.
      2. The Countdown timer will tell you the amount of time you are left.
      3. If you finish the quiz within the time limit click on the Finish attempt and Submit to submit the quiz
      4. In case you are unable to finish within the time limit, the Quiz will auto-submit 
      5. After submission, your attempt will be available after the quiz closes.
      6. Marks can be displayed by click on Grades after the last exams are over.
